Jenifer Lewis, Fresh Prince's "Aunt Helen" was born January 25, 1957 and would get her acting start on Broadway in 1979 with a small role in a performance of Eubie. From there she would continue to rise to fame, becoming a backup singer for Bette Midler.
After making the move from New York to Los Angeles, Lewis began to appear regularly on TV in sitcoms including:

- and Friends.
