Demi Moore delivered a sizzling performance in the film Striptease, but there were also several heartwarming moments when the actress appeared on-screen with her real-life daughter Rumer Willis. The dynamic duo had starred together before, in the film Now and Then. Recently they have both had recurring roles in the tremendously popular TV-Series Empire.

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Billie Lourd joined her mother on set as "Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix" while her mother played "General Leia Organa". Carrie Fisher was really proud of her daughter, and told her she should pursue acting saying, "If you are comfortable here (on set), you should do this, you should act."

Producers of the TV series The Closer were extremely vocal about their desire for Kyra Sedgwick's daughter Sosie Bacon to join the cast. Kyra was adamant that she did not want her daughter to become embroiled in the world of show business too young, but they finally convinced her, and Sosie appeared on the series as Kyra's character "Brenda Leigh Johnson's" niece for four episodes.

Blythe Danner and Gwyneth Paltrow made their screen debut together in the TV series Cruel Doubt. In the film Sylvia they played mother and daughter "Aurelia Plath" (Blythe Danner) and "Silvia Plath" (Gwyneth Paltrow).
