Morgan Stevens was a famous actor and landed numerous roles in well-known television series such as The Waltons and Melrose Place. Sad news has now followed: the actor passed away.

Morgan Stevens is dead at age 70

According to TMZ, Stevens was found lifeless in his home in LA on Wednesday, Jan. 26. He is said to have died of natural causes.

According to the reports, Stevens' neighbour informed the police after he hadn't seen the Waltons actor for several days. That's when they found him.

Stevens was known for playing "Paul Northridge" on The Waltons. The character married the daughter "Erin Walton" (Mary Elizabeth McDonough) in one of the sequel movies.

Stevens also had the parts of "David Reardon" on Fame and "Nick Diamond" on Melrose Place.

Elsewhere, he was seen in guest roles on classics including MacGyver, Magnum P.I., Murder, She Wrote, and Quincy M.E., to name just a few.

His final role came in a 1999 episode of the Chuck Norris series Walker, Texas Ranger.
