Born July 31, 1962 in Orlando, Florida, American actor and director Wesley Snipes had a passion for acting and martial arts from an early age. Wesley would begin training in marital arts at the age of 12 and has since earned a black belt in both Shotokan Karate and Hapkido. Studying performing arts in both high school and university, Wesley was discovered at the age of 23 while performing in a competition.
