The American actor, director and screenwriter Jonathan Brandis committed suicide in 2003 at just 27 years old. He had his big breakthrough as a child actor starring in the ABC soap One Life To Live. He then went on to star in the popular NBC sci-Fi series SeaQuest DSV from 1993 until 1996.
