Joe Biden was born in Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942. He studied law and worked as a lawyer until his political career began in 1970. At the age of 29, he was elected to the US Senate and went on to run as a candidate in the 1988 presidential election.

However, he withdrew his candidacy because of a copied speech. In 2008 Barack Obama declared Joe Biden as his vice president, which would help him eventually land the Presidential title he has today.
