Brandon Lee

Brandon Lee, the son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, died on March 31, 1993, at the age of 28, while filming a scene for the movie 'The Crow.' In the scene, Lee's character, "Eric Draven," is shot and killed by a gang of thugs. The scene was filmed using a real gun with a blank cartridge, however, a fragment of the blank cartridge became lodged in the barrel of the gun and was fired out when the gun was next used, striking Lee in the abdomen. He was rushed to the hospital but died of his injuries.

Vic Morrow

Vic Morrow, an American actor and two child actors were killed on July 23, 1982, in an accident while filming a scene for the movie 'Twilight Zone: The Movie.' In the scene, Morrow's character is running across a field with the two children while being chased by a helicopter. The helicopter was supposed to fly close overhead to create the illusion of danger, but it lost control and crashed into the group, killing all three of them.

Nick Menza, an American drummer best known for his work with Megadeth, died on May 21, 2016, at the age of 51, from a heart attack while performing with his new band OHM at the Baked Potato club in Studio City, California.

Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, better known by his stage name Molière, was a French playwright and actor who was considered one of the greatest writers in the French language. He died on February 17, 1673, at the age of 51, while performing in his play 'The Imaginary Invalid.' Molière is believed to have died of a heart attack while performing the role of "Argan," the hypochondriac protagonist of the play. He reportedly collapsed on stage during the fourth act of the play and was carried off stage by his fellow actors. He died a short time later.

Mike Scaccia, the guitarist for the industrial metal bands Ministry and Rigor Mortis, died on December 22, 2012, at the age of 47, while performing at The Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas. He collapsed on stage during the performance and was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after midnight. The cause of death was determined to be a sudden heart attack brought on by heart disease.

Sib Hashian

Sib Hashian, the drummer for the rock band Boston, died on March 22, 2017, at the age of 67, from a heart attack while performing with the band during a concert at the Legado Golf Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He collapsed on stage during the band's performance of their hit song "More Than a Feeling" and was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after.

Dimebag Darrell

Dimebag Darrell, the lead guitarist and co-founder of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan, was killed on December 8, 2004, at the age of 38, while performing with Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. He was shot and killed by a deranged fan, Nathan Gale, who then shot and killed three other people before being killed by police.

Some people say that the best way of leaving this world is doing what we love, and sadly, some celebrities have had that fate after passing while performing their craft. Musicians, comedians, actors, hosts, wrestlers, dancers, you name it.
