On the set of ‘Little House on the Prairie’ the actors found themselves outside of the set on multiple occasions. That's how "Charles Ingalls" actor Michael Landon fell in love with his makeup artist, Cindy Clerico.
Love on 'Little House on the Prairie'
Melissa and her on-screen dad weren't just co-workers. After the death of Melissa's father, Michael Landon became something of a stand-in father figure for the child star.
Melissa told 'ABC News': "Our relationship was very close, and it grew even deeper when my father passed away [in 1976]. Our families got close. We went on vacation to Hawaii together every Easter."
