Canadian actress Mamie Laverock (19), known to many for her role as "Rosaleen Sullivan" in the popular Netflix series 'When Calls The Heart', is in a critical condition. The 19-year-old suffered a serious accident and sustained life-threatening injuries.

How Mamie Laverock is doing

According to her parents on the donation platform "GoFundMe", the accident occurred on May 26, after Laverock had already been in hospital due to a "medical emergency"  and was undergoing treatment.

"Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories," Rob and Nicole Compton share and continue writing: "She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support."

It is not known what Mamie Laverock's recovery prospects are. The family is deeply shocked by what has happened and is looking for support on the donation platform.

Former co-stars from 'When Calls The Heart' have also called for participation in the fundraising campaign on social media. So far, over $25,000 dollars have been raised for Mamie.

In addition to 'When Calls The Heart', Mamie Laverock also appeared in 'The Hollow Child' and "A Series of Unfortunate Events".
