Lynda Carter starred as "Wonder Woman" on the famed television series from 1975 to 1979. The three-season run of the well-known superhero series was a fan favourite among many in the 70s. Lynda is still active in the entertainment business today as she most recently appeared in the series Supergirl and Super Troopers (2018).

 

Wonder Woman: "Colonel Steve Trevor" Pass Away

On Tuesday March 17th, veteran actor Lyle Waggoner passed away at the age of 84 after a battle with a brief illness. Lyle was known for playing the role of "Colonel Steve Trevor" on Wonder Woman alongside the brilliant Carter.

 

Lynda took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late co-star and friend. "Lyle Waggoner was a memorable colleague and co-star, but he was also a friend. His kindness meant the world to me when I was very young and just starting my career," she wrote.

Lynda also noted that her and Lyle last spoke and caught up in 2018 and she's so glad that they did.

 

Apart from Lyle's role on Wonder Woman, he also made his mark in Hollywood when he starred in seven seasons of The Carol Burnett Show. Waggoner hosted the quiz show It's Your Bet and he appeared as himself in an episode of That 70's Show. May he rest in peace.
