Maddie Ziegler's mom apologizes for involvement in 'Dance Moms'
Ziegler has already reported in the past that this time was not necessarily easy. In a new interview on the 'High Low' podcast, Maddie spoke again about her participation in the show and her mother's apology.
"It's really strange because last year my mum had [...] I had a really bad panic attack and I called my mum and things just came up from the past and she apologized to me," says Maddie in conversation with Emily Ratajkowski.
"She was like, 'I'm so sorry I did that to you'. And it's so sad because it's like she never wanted to hurt us, but she, none of us, knew how crazy it was going to get," Maddie continues.
After six seasons, Maddie Ziegler dropped out of the show 'Dance Moms' at "eleven or twelve years old" after her mother did everything she could to break the contracts and "get her kids out of there".
In the end, she succeeded with the help of singer Sia. "But it was very hard," Maddie remembers.
