Actor Jane Seymour is preparing for a busy June, with season five of Harry Wild set to arrive on 22 June while her personal life enters a bright new phase. The Emmy and Golden Globe winner spoke about finding fresh energy through social media, family life, and a new engagement. She said TikTok has given her an unexpected connection with viewers across generations, adding a playful outlet alongside her screen work. The timing adds extra interest as she returns to one of streaming’s steady mystery titles.
Jane Seymour Confirms Engagement to John Zambetti
Seymour confirmed her engagement to musician John Zambetti in mid-June and described the relationship in deeply personal terms. According to Hello!, she called him “the one” and said people close to them have noticed a major change in both of their lives. The proposal happened early on Valentine’s Day 2026 at her Malibu home. Seymour recalled waking up fast when she realized what was happening. The couple now share a beachside home that also serves as a gathering place for their blended family, including visits from her grandchildren.
Harry Wild Season 5 Brings Back Joe Lando
The TV return also comes with a familiar face. Seymour will reunite with actor Joe Lando, her former Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman co-star, in the new season as Pierce Kennedy, a state pathologist who quickly alters Harry’s world. “The kind of chemistry that is required for these two characters is not something we have to make up. We understand how that works,” said Jane according to Hello!. Their renewed on-screen pairing grew from a difficult real-life period after the 2025 Palisades Fire displaced Lando and his wife for several weeks.
Dr. Quinn Still Shapes Jane Seymour’s Career
Seymour also reflected on how central Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman remains in her life and career. She and Lando first worked together in 1992, and the series became a turning point during a painful period marked by financial strain and divorce. She said the role arrived when she was at her lowest and changed everything. The cast has stayed close over the decades, even reuniting for her 75th birthday. Seymour and Lando have also continued pushing for a revival, though those efforts have yet to bring the series back to television.
TikTok, Grandchildren, and a New Chapter
Away from scripted drama, Seymour says social media has opened another lane in her career. “I thought no one on TikTok was going to care about someone my age, but they did – in their millions,” Jane told Hello!. She said the platform makes her feel youthful and gives her a way to make women her age smile. Family life is another major source of that energy. Seymour recently welcomed a fourth grandchild into the family and spoke warmly about watching her children become parents, while continuing to balance streaming work with a lively public presence.
