Oscars 2026 Fashion: The Best and Worst Red Carpet Looks

“Oscars so white” — but this time on the red carpet. Shades of white, champagne and ivory dominated many of the evening’s looks. Gwyneth Paltrow stood out in a striking white gown by Armani Privé. The daring detail was revealed from the side: sheer inserts added a dramatic touch and a bold glimpse to the elegant design.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone once again proved her flair for unforgettable Oscar looks. The 37-year-old stepped onto the red carpet in a simple, slim, sparkling gown by Louis Vuitton — minimalist, yet absolutely elegant.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning also opted for white, stepping onto the red carpet in a fairytale-like princess gown by Givenchy — simply dreamy! Top!

Timothée Chalamet, star of 'Marty Supreme,' also embraced the trend, opting for a snow-white suit by Givenchy. Compared to his co-stars, however, the look felt a little underwhelming — so this one lands in the flop category.

Demi Moore

Demi Moore delivered one of the most spectacular looks of the evening. The 63-year-old stepped onto the red carpet in a bottle-green feather gown by Gucci, instantly capturing everyone’s attention.

Jack O'Connell

Jack O'Connell delivered perhaps the most “biting” moment of the evening. The 35-year-old surprised photographers with pointed vampire fangs, flashing them with every smile. The look was intentional — a nod to his role as the original vampire Remmick in the blockbuster 'Sinners.' Still, for us, it lands in the flop category!

Kevin O'Leary

Probably the most unusual eye-catcher of the evening came from a business star: Kevin O'Leary. The 'Shark Tank' investor skipped the traditional diamond necklace and instead wore an extremely rare “Triple Logoman” basketball card. The collector’s item was set in a kilogram of white gold and surrounded by 101 carats of diamonds from Tiffany & Co. — a million-dollar piece of jewelry guaranteed to grab attention. Unfortunately, the look didn’t win us over at all — flop!

'Song Sung Blue' star Kate Hudson shone on the red carpet in a glittering, tailored jade-green bustier gown by Giorgio Armani Privé. The design, featuring a deep sweetheart neckline and a sculptural peplum waist, perfectly highlighted the actress’s silhouette. Top!

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum was certainly an eye-catcher in a bold criss-cross dress by Chrome Hearts. However, the busy pattern felt a bit overwhelming and didn’t flatter the model’s silhouette. We’ve definitely seen better looks on her!

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman floated down the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in a feather-light dream gown by Chanel. The Oscar winner turned heads with the elegant look. Wow!

The 98th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles once again proved that the red carpet is the second stage of Oscar night. While the coveted gold statuettes were handed out inside, a clear fashion theme emerged outside the entrance: white in all its shades, striking architectural silhouettes and bold statement details.
