Martina McBride was born on July 29th, 1966 in Kansas, USA. She is an American country music singer-songwriter and record producer and has a total of thirteen studio albums, two greatest hits compilations, one "live" album, and an additional two compilation albums under her belt.

McBride first signed to RCA Records in 1991 and released her first studio album in 1992 titled The Time Has Come. Her second album, The Way That I Am featured the single "Independence Day" which won Video of the Year and Song of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards. From 1995 to 1999, she released two more albums called Wild Angels and Evolution.

Martina McBride: Greatest Hits 

The 2000s brought us Martina's first Greatest Hits album as well as her seventh studio album titled Martina, which celebrated womanhood. This album featured the hit song, "This One's for the Girls" and went to number three on the country charts and number one on the Adult Contemporary charts. She released three more albums before 2010, Timeless, Waking Up Laughing, and Shine

In 2016, Martina released the single "Reckless" off a new album of the same name. She also released a Christmas album in 2018. Overall Martina has had an incredibly successful career and many people look up to her in the Country music industry.

Martina McBride: Her personal life

Martina McBride married sound engineer John McBride and the couple has three daughters together, Delaney, Emma, and Ava. Martina was very present in the upbringing of her daughters, which may have had an impact on her career. However, she was clear that she wanted to be around and in her daughters' lives. Martina McBride also works for a variety of charities, for example, the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the Kids Wish Network.
