The royals are on a tour of the Caribbean, where they've begun taking in the sights and culture in Belize. William and Kate were even game for dancing with the locals in a village called Hopkins.

Kate and Prince William dance up a storm on Caribbean tour

As seen in the video below, Prince William holds hands with a Belizean woman as they enjoy a dance. Meanwhile, Kate follows the lead of a few other women enjoying the music around her. Here's the clip shared by journalist Roya Nikkhah.

It looks like William and Kate had some fun, and the locals appeared thrilled that they joined in the dancing.

Today is Day 2 of Prince William and Duchess Kate's royal tour. Over eight days, they're visiting the Caribbean countries of Belize, Jamaica, and The Bahamas.

The tour got off to an uneasy start, as an anti-royal protest made headlines and forced the government of Belize to cancel one of William and Kate's planned outings on Sunday.

But the couple was still welcomed warmly by the Belizean prime minister. Judging by the lively dance scene, many locals are happy to have them there, too.

Royal fans can expect plenty more from Prince William and Duchess Kate's tour this week. It's a special visit to the Caribbean nations in the Commonwealth realm for Queen Elizabeth's 70th year on the throne.
