Prince Harry (41) has made his first public appearance since returning to the United Kingdom. The Duke of Sussex visited Tower Bridge Studios in London, a production facility for film, television, and podcast projects. The studio shared photos of his visit on Instagram, but the pictures are no longer accessible.
In the photos, Harry can be seen signing the guest book with a white marker before posing next to his signature. The visit marked his first public appearance since the family returned to the United Kingdom in late August. Meghan was not present, nor were Archie and Lilibet.
Prince Harry Visits Tower Bridge Studios in London
According to the studio, Harry’s visit was a great pleasure, and it thanked the royal alongside the photos: “Thank you Prince Harry for choosing Tower Bridge Studios! It was an absolute pleasure to have you in our studios and signing our wall,” The post has since been deleted.
The exact reason for the meeting was not disclosed. The facilities in central London are used for television productions and video podcasts, among other projects. It has not been confirmed whether a new media project was being prepared there.
King Charles Reaffirms the Sussexes’ Status
At the same time as Harry’s studio visit, the palace released an official statement regarding his and Meghan’s roles. It stated that there had been “no change” in the couple’s status. The statement, drafted by Lord Chamberlain Richard Benyon on behalf of King Charles, clarified that Harry and Meghan have not been working members of the Royal Family since January 2020.
Their use of the “Royal Highness” style therefore remains suspended. The couple will also continue to operate separately from the royal household and be regarded as private individuals with commercial and charitable interests.
The Family Lives in England While Keeping Their Montecito Home
Harry, Meghan, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, arrived in the United Kingdom on August 26. The family plans to maintain a private home in their home country for an extended period while keeping their house in Montecito, California. According to reports, they are currently living in the Cotswolds in southwest England.
Harry is also set to begin preparations in the UK for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. Recently, there has been speculation about a gradual reconciliation with King Charles, while contact with Prince William is reportedly still nonexistent.
Harry’s Next Event Involves a 102-Year-Old Veteran
The prince already has another event coming up this September. Together with 102-year-old World War II veteran Ed Marshall, Harry is reportedly planning to jump out of an airplane for a good cause.
