The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were special guests at a recent back-to-school prep session.

On Aug. 21, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out at an event with Los Angeles charity Baby2Baby. At the session, they handed out school supplies at a drive-thru setup for children in need. A few photos were seen at the time, but now, one week later, the charity shared a video of the event!

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's latest appearance in L.A.

On Aug. 28, Baby2Baby wrote on Instagram: "We were thrilled to have The Duke and Duchess of Sussex join our team last week for a back to school distribution, spending time with students returning to remote learning due to COVID-19.

"Thank you for putting smiles on the faces of the children and families we serve and helping us provide the supplies, basic hygiene and clothing every child deserves."

In the video (seen above), Harry and Meghan hand out supplies to schoolchildren and chat with families who've stopped at the setup. Visitors appear charmed to see the couple, who warmly receive their guests. The fatherly prince is even seen adjusting one youngster's backpack strap and flashing him a thumbs-up in approval.

Harry and Meghan are in Santa Barbara today

The charity outing with L.A.'s Baby2Baby was one of the Sussexes' few public appearances since they moved to California. On this occasion, they both wore face masks and thin gloves, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to greatly impact their home state in the U.S.

In recent weeks, Meghan has made virtual and outdoor appearances as she's discussed politics ahead of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The couple also relocated from their Beverly Hills home, owned by Tyler Perry, to a mansion in the coastal California city of Santa Barbara.
