Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and little Archie have moved into their new family home! After exiting the British Royal Family early this year, the family of three has relocated to Vancouver Island, Canada, Los Angeles, and now finally they have settled in a little seaside town in Santa Barbara, California, just 100 miles north of L.A.
Meghan and Harry Buy Home In Santa Barbara
A source tells People that "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family."
Another source revealed to Page Six that "This is the place where they plan to be happy, make good friends and bring up [son] Archie, giving him the chance to play with other children his age." Noting that this is the first time the couple has ever owned anything on their own.
Meghan and Harry Will Be In Good Company
The couple left the royal family for more privacy and to raise Archie in as normal of a way as possible, out of the royal spotlight. While Santa Barbara is one of the wealthiest communities in the United States, the little family will be in good company!
They could have famous neighbours such as Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and even Rob Lowe! With Meghan Markle being a former actress, we have no doubt that they will fit right in to their new community!
The last time we saw either Prince Harry or Duchess Meghan has been via video calls in support of different charities or initiatives. Prince Harry spoke at the Global Travalyst Summit and Meghan Markle recently revealed why she plans to vote in 2020!
