Duchess Meghan was friends with celebrity jewellry maker Jennifer Meyer back when she was an actress. The pair still seem to be close as Meghan has been spotted wearing many of her pieces to big royal events like when Harry and Meghan revealed baby Archie for the first time, or when they met Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Buckingham Palace addressed the issue with Jennifer Meyer
Buckingham Palace has since caught wind of the photos of the Duchess wearing the jewellry at these official events on Meyer's website and social media accounts and has told her to take them down. Since then, all pictures with the Duchess have been removed.
Jennifer Meyer was married to Tobey Maguire
A royal source commented, "Jennifer Meyer has been told to remove the images and in no uncertain terms how damaging this could be for Meghan and the Royal Family." Meyer was married to actor Tobey Maguire and became friends with the Duchess during her acting days. Some are saying that the Duchess of Sussex has again blurred the lines between member of the royal family and celebrity.
