Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been proud parents for more than a week now. Their son Archie Harrison was born in the early morning of May 6th. One could assume that the couple needed some helping hands to relieve the baby stress after birth, however that doesn't seem to be the case quite yet.

The British daily, The Sun, reports that Meghan and Harry have not yet hired a team, helpers or a nanny for Archie. On the contrary, the royal couple are said to have even reduced their staff. Royal expert Katie Nicholl claims to have heard this information.

Royal Support: Doria Helps Meghan and Harry

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, is currently the main supporter of the new royal parents instead of paid help. She is "indispensable" for the couple and has been a great deal of help. Meghan's mother landed in London at the end of April so as not to miss the birth of her first grandchild.

She spent the weeks before the birth with Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry at Frogmore Cottage. Doria was also seen in the official photo of Archie's birth announcement, next to the Queen and Prince Philip. This shows what an important role she will play in Archie's life in the future.

That she moves away from her homeland Los Angeles and to England, however, is not yet assumed. Doria Ragland is a versatile woman who leads a busy life, says a Royal expert.
She works as a make-up artist, yoga teacher and also works as a social worker. According to The Sun, there is always a room available for her in Frogmore Cottage. Royal insiders have said Doria will come visit frequently in the future.

Will Meghan and Harry hire a nanny for Archie?

So far Meghan and Harry have not organized childcare for their son. But in order for Baby Archie to be cared for around the clock despite the many royal obligations of his parents, it is assumed that they will soon need to hire a nanny.

Before the birth of the little one, there were suspicions that Duchess Meghan was looking for a US nanny. According to an insider, the Duke and Duchess could also wish for a male nanny for baby Archie.
