Duchess Meghan has shared glimpses of her new daily life in the United Kingdom on Instagram for the first time. The Reel, posted on Sunday, features brief snippets of her family life with Prince Harry and their two children.
The footage includes walks in the countryside, a scene of Meghan riding a bike with her daughter Lilibet, and Archie running alongside her. Another clip shows one of the children sitting by the fire and warming their feet. Meghan also added a Union Jack flag and a heart to the video.
Meghan Shares Glimpses of Country Life
Harry also appears in the clip. The 41-year-old is seen sitting with the children in a small boat on a lake, fishing with them. Meghan herself is also shown jumping into a mud puddle while wearing rubber boots.
The new photos have surfaced just a few days after Meghan was first spotted in the Cotswolds. According to Page Six, she was seen there on Friday at Soho Farmhouse, a private members’ club. Reports say she met with a woman for tea. The Sussexes returned to England on August 26 after it was confirmed that they would be staying there for an extended period.
The Cotswolds Are Emerging as a New Focal Point of Daily Life
The sighting in the Cotswolds came as Meghan and Harry were settling into a new home in the affluent region outside London. According to an insider quoted by Page Six, “She seems to be starting to socialize and going out and about."
The source added, “lots of the moms go to [Soho Farmhouse] to relax and unwind at the end of the week.” While Meghan was spotted there, Harry made his first public appearance in London on September 7. He was photographed at Tower Bridge Studios and appeared to be in good spirits.
King Charles Confirms the Sussexes’ Status
Alongside these personal details, a letter was made public reaffirming the couple’s status. According to the letter, sent via the Lord Chamberlain, King Charles confirmed that the two remain non-working members of the Royal Family and will not carry out official engagements on behalf of the monarch.
The letter also states that they cannot use the “Royal Highness” style. Instead, they continue to be regarded as private individuals with commercial and charitable interests. A spokesperson for the Sussexes said they were surprised by the letter and had been informed of it only a few minutes before it was released to the media.
