Prince William Joins Cate Blanchett to Discuss the Earthshot Prize

The conversation centered on the Earthshot Prize, the ambitious environmental initiative William launched in 2020. Inspired by John F. Kennedy's famous “Moonshot” concept, the project aims to discover and support innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges.

Cate Blanchett serves on the Earthshot Prize Council, Robert Irwin is a global ambassador, and Hannah Waddingham previously hosted the 2023 awards ceremony in Singapore.

Each year, five winners receive £1 million each to help advance their projects. The prize focuses on five key environmental goals: protecting nature, cleaning the air, restoring oceans, building a waste-free world, and tackling climate change.
