As part of the celebrations for the coronation of King Charles, the day after the ceremony on May 6th, the "Big Lunch" took place in Great Britain. Britons gathered for street festivals across the country. Princess Kate and Prince William also mingled with the people. While the coronation at Westminster Abbey was strictly according to protocol, Kate and William were completely relaxed in Windsor.
