The shot is special and surprises fans with a sweet detail. None other than Kate's youngest child, six-year-old Prince Louis, took the photo. The close relationship between Kate and her children is well known, and this picture is further proof of the deep bond within the family. "Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease. C," was the accompanying message.
World Cancer Day: A sign of hope
The photos were published shortly after Kate expressed her gratitude to the medical teams during an unannounced visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea.
The Princess, who underwent chemotherapy last year, described the visit as "incredibly moving" and shared her relief that she is now in remission. "It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal," she said in a post on Instagram.
