They look like a normal Swedish family: Princess Victoria (41) and Prince Daniel (44) went on holiday again this summer with their children Princess Estelle (6) and Prince Oscar (2). Now the Swedish Royal Palace has published some pictures that clearly show how happy of a family they are.
Swedish Royals: Summer holidays in Solliden
Together with their parents Queen Silvia (74) and King Carl XVI Gustaf (72) of Sweden, Princess Victoria and her family spent their summer holidays at the royal summer residence Solliden on Öland. The official pictures the palace has issued clearly show the family having a lot of fun. Especially Prince Oscar seems a happy boy, judging by how happily he grins into the camera while on horseback.
But the family not only spent time in Solliden Castle. They also went on excursions to other parts of the kingdom, enjoying the nature in Hälsingland, equipped with rubber boots and caps. They apparently also had great fun on the ferry that the family used to cross the straits between Öland and the mainland.
It's great to see how beautifully normal the royals spend their holidays. For Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, however, this was not the only trip of the summer. The Swedish royals visited Estonia the past weekend as well. And now Princess Estelle finally starts school!
