• A new case of COVID-19 in the British Royal Family
  • Queen Consort Camilla tested positive this week
  • It's the second time she has dealt with the virus

Concern for Queen Camilla: The wife of King Charles is ill with COVID-19. The Palace announced this in a press statement on Feb. 13.

Previously it was already made public that Camilla was unwell – though it was assumed a cold or flu.

Palace makes a statement on Camilla's COVID battle

"After suffering the symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the Covid virus," stated the Palace.

"With regret, she has therefore cancelled all her public engagements for this week and sends her sincere apologies."

Also interesting:

Camilla is nevertheless in good spirits and is currently resting. For the Queen it is already the second COVID diagnosis.

She was already infected a year ago. At that time, too, the positive test proceeded without complications for Camilla.

We wish the wife of King Charles a speedy recovery...
