Due to the pandemic the last two years, the British royal family didn't keep their annual Christmas tradition which is celebrating together in Sandringham. King Carles III (74) and Queen Camilla (75) are now planning the dearest of traditions in honour of the late Queen (†96).
King Charles III resumes the tradition of the Queen
Queen Elizabeth not only celebrated Christmas with her family there but also the anniversary of the death of her father King George VI and her jubilee in February. This place held great significance for Queen Elizabeth, which is why Charles is probably picking up this tradition again.
Many members of the British royal family will gather there in Sandringham with the King at Christmas, such as his siblings Princess Anne (72), Prince Andrew (62) and Prince Edward (58) Prince William (40) with Duchess Kate (40) and their children will also be part of the celebrations.
