'Charlie's Angels': The Original Cast Through The Years

Charlie's Angels was a crime drama TV series that ran on the ABC Network from 1976 until 1981. The show itself revolved around a group of young women who join the "Charles Townsend Agency" due to their dissatisfaction with their current jobs where they work as private investigators for the mysterious "Charlie".The young women are given the nickname "Angels". Because of the show's crazy popularity, leading stars such as Farrah Fawcett became pop culture icons with long and successful careers. But what about the rest of the cast?

Before joining the "Charles Townsend Agency," "Julie Rogers" had gotten into a few issues with the law, having been sent to "Sybil Brand Correctional Facility" for 6 months for shoplifting. She had also graduated from a modelling school before she was recruited to utilize her skills as a private investigator.

After the show's cancelation in 1981, Roberts went on to star in a few different TV movies and series such as Murder Me, Murder You, Hot Line, The Blues Brothers Animated Series as well as a recurring role in the popular series That '70s Show as adorable and ditzy "Midge Pinciotti". Roberts was married to her husband Barry Roberts until his death in 2006 and now currently resides in Hollywood Hills, California. Tragically, Tanya passed away on January 4th, 2021.

"Tiffany Welles" was the musician of the group being a skilled violinist and an opera enthusiast. She was trained at the Boston Police Academy where she graduated at the top of her class before joining "Charlie's" team of private investigators.

After leaving Charlie's Angels in 1980, Shelley Hack moved on to star in several different movies and TV shows such as The King of Comedy, Vanities, The Stepfather, and Jack And Mike. Hack later got into politics and became a media consultant for pre-conflict and post-conflict countries, like Bosnia & Herzegovina. She also currently works as a producer, with her last job being on the set of Summer of Dreams back in 2016.

Drop-dead gorgeous "Jill Munroe" is one of the founding employees of the "Charles Townsend Detective Agency". She continued to stay in touch with "Charlie" and even did a few jobs for him here and there. "Munroe" is also a professional race car driver who even won the Grand Prix in 1979!

Farrah Fawcett moved on to star in other shows like The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Double Exposure: The Story of Margaret Bourke-White, and Small Sacrifices. Sadly, Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and succumbed to it in 2009.The icon is greatly missed and her impact on Hollywood and the fashion industry is still felt to this day.

"Sabrina Duncan" was also a founding employee of the "Charles Townsend Detective Agency" and acted as a team leader for the group. She left the agency after three years of service to start a family.

Gorgeous Kate had many public romances that caught the eye of the tabloids like Dick Benedict, Nick Nolte, and Warren Beatty. She married actor Andrew Stevens, David Greenwald, and Tom Hart, with whom she adopted her sweet son Charles Taylor Jackson. Jackson moved on to star in the hit series Scarecrow & Mrs. King and Baby Boom as well as had several other minor roles on popular television shows like Criminal Minds, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Saturday Night Live.

"Kris Munroe" was trained at the San Francisco Police Academy serving as a switchboard officer with a slightly damaged childhood due to her father's alcoholism.
