Shannen Doherty played the role of "Prue", the eldest of the three "Halliwell" sisters who initially receives the power to move objects with her mind by channelling telekinesis through her eyes.

She had to leave the series in the middle of the fourth season due to problems with other cast members. Shannen is still active as an actress, but has not had a great amount of success since leaving 'Charmed'. She has been married to her third husband, the photographer Kurt Iswarienko, since 2011. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, but she beat the disease and has been a source of inspiration and strength for others who have also have breast cancer. Unfortunately, Doherty was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer again in 2019.

"Piper" is the middle sister and is very caring and a bit shy in the series. After "Prue's" death however, she takes much more of a leadership role. She falls in love with "Leo", her whitelighter. The couple gets married and have two sons: "Wyatt" and "Chris". "Piper" can make anything freeze and can make things explode.

Holly has starred in the series 'Pretty Little Liars' as "Ella Montgomery" from 2010 until 2017. She also starred in the popular show 'Picket Fences' from 1992 until 1996 before joining the cast of 'Charmed'. She married David Donoho in 2004 and they have three sons. The couple divorced in 2011, after seven years of marriage. In late 2019, Combs married Mike Ryan.

She is, at least until "Paige" joins the sisters, the youngest of the trio. In season three she falls in love with a demon named "Cole", whom, tragically, she has to destroy together with her sisters. She is able to see into the past and the future, to levitate and to read minds.

After 'Charmed', Alyssa Milano appeared in some films but is more active as a TV actress now. She had a recurring role in the series 'Mistresses' from 2012 to 2014. In 2009, she married David Bugliari and has two children with him: a son named Milo Thomas (*2011) and a daughter named Elizabella Dylan (*2014). The actress campaigns for various charitable causes such as PETA.

After "Prue's" sad death, "Paige", played by Rose McGowan, comes to live with the sisters. "Piper" and "Phoebe's" half-sister "Paige" had a very difficult life until she met them. "Paige" is a master of telekinesis, can beam objects and people and, later on in the series, is also able to heal people.
