Jesse Lee Soffer has been a popular star throughout his career, which began in the 1990s. But in 2004, he joined soap opera As the World Turns, playing "Will Munson" for over 500 episodes until moving on in 2010.

More recently, Soffer has begun to shed his once best-known role as "Will." Today, fans may know him better as "Jay Halstead" on Chicago P.D. and in the Chicago TV franchise on NBC.

Soffer first began portraying "Jay" in 2014 and he remains one of the main stars today on Chicago P.D., which began airing season 9 in 2022.

This series is a spin-off from Chicago Fire, where Soffer first played "Jay Halstead." Ever since, he's remained with the Chicago franchise and accumulated over 130 appearances across all the seasons.

As of 2022, Soffer's main project is Chicago P.D. — and, in truth, he hasn't appeared in any projects other than the Chicago franchise since 2013! He did act on Law & Order: SVU in 2015, but it was again as "Jay" and within the Wolf Universe. His priority has remained Chicago P.D.Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med.

As for what he looks like now... Today, Jesse hasn't aged a day since we first saw him as "Jay" in 2014! If you don't believe it, we'll leave you with one final test below.
