'Have Gun - Will Travel': The Cast Then and Now

"Paladin" is a gunfighter/investigator who travels throughout the Old West looking for clients to solve crimes and cases. He isn't only a very great detective and quite a fearsome man, he also has a good heart often helping people for free.

Richard Boone was the star of 'Have Gun - Will Travel', his most important television program. Boone was one of the most popular Western actors starring in over 50 movies! He passed in 1981 at 63 years old of throat cancer. He worked until the very end of his days.

One of the very few recurring characters in 'Have Gun - Will Travel' was "Hey Boy" played by Kam Tong. "Hey Boy" is a bellhop at the Carlton Hotel. He appears in the first season after "Paladin" looks after him for a case. 

Besides his recurring role in 'Have Gun - Will Travel', Kam Tong appeared in several hit shows of the time like 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' and 'The Time Tunnel'. He worked in a lot of classic film productions like 'Stagecoach', although he wasn't credited properly in most of these. He passed in 1969.

Pamela Lincoln made a guest appearance in 'Have Gun - Will Travel' as the maid "Mary" in the episode "First, Catch a Tiger".

Pamela Lincoln was an outstanding actress of Hollywood's Golden Age. She appeared in projects like 'The Tingler' and 'Love of Life'. She passed recently in 2019 at 82.

Peter Falk played "Waller" a hopeless gambler in the episode "The Poker Friend" of 'Have Gun - Will Travel'.

After his participation in 'Have Gun - Will Travel', Peter Falk rose to fame for his starring role in 'Columbo'. He got an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in 'Murder, Inc.'. He passed in 2011 aged 83.
