Smith announced that he would not be reprising his role as "Deadshot" in the upcoming sequel, so the producers decided to cast Idris Elba, and surprise!... He will be the new "Deadshot". Elba was reportedly at the top of their list and he immediately hit it off with Gunn. The new Suicide Squad movie is set to be released on August 6th, 2021. Watch the video here!
