James Corden is asking the tough questions

James Corden is making it clear how he feels about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over his lacklustre response to U.S. President Donald Trump's photo-op during the Black Lives Matter protests that have spread throughout both countries.

On Wednesday's episode of The Late Late Show, Corden jokes that he wasn't sure if his screen was frozen watching the Canadian politician. The Prime Minister took roughly 21 seconds to respond to a question asked in regard to Trump.

“I honestly thought the video was frozen,” Corden joked.

“Somebody needs to unplug the Prime Minister and then plug him back in. In the time it took him to give an answer, you could have watched an entire series on Quibi," he said.

Corden then took the 21 second time frame to ask some hard hitting questions.

“Mr. Prime Minister, if ice cream melts, does it become soup?” Corden asks, before cutting to Trudeau, still silent.

Corden also asked, "How come Goofy and Pluto are the same kind of animal, but Goofy wears clothes and talks, but Pluto is just a regular-a-- dog?”
