The Queen of Pop is ready to direct her own movie. This Tuesday, Universal Pictures reported on the preparation of the biographical film of one of the most influential figures in the history of pop music: Madonna.

However, best of all, it will be the same American artist who will direct this film, and if that were not enough, Madonna will also participate in the script for the film. That is, she will be fully involved in this new project, which does not yet have a defined title.

Madonna will direct her own Universal Pictures biopic!

Regarding this new film, Madonna assured through a statement from Universal Pictures that it will be focused on music, everything, of course, seen from her perspective.

"I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer — a human being, trying to make her way in this world. The focus of this film will always be music.  Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision," Madonna stated.

The singer will write the screenplay for this film alongside Oscar winner Diablo Cody. Meanwhile, Amy Pascal will produce the film alongside Madonna.

"This movie is an absolute labor of love for me. I have known Madonna since we made A League of Their Own together, and I can’t imagine anything more thrilling than collaborating with her and Diablo on bringing her true-life story to the big screen with Donna and our partners at Universal," said Amy Pascal.

So far it is not known who will be in the cast and who else will be involved in this new film, including the actress who will have the honour of playing the Queen of Pop.
