The police are also looking for potential victims of Gatt, though details of his alleged crime haven't been made public. He was arrested on April 6 and released on bail the same day.
The disturbing news came out on Wednesday, and Joseph Gatt responded on Instagram. "I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and completely untrue allegations recently leveled against me," he wrote.
"They are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today's press release. I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name.
"Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and understand for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media," Gatt concluded.
Joseph Gatt is an English actor. In 2019, he appeared on NCIS: New Orleans as the villain "Viktor Zelko."
He has also been seen on shows including Game of Thrones, True Detective, and Teen Wolf. In film, Gatt had parts in Star Trek Into Darkness, Dumbo, and Thor.
It looks like Gatt was back posting on Instagram a few days after his arrest. We'll see what comes from the police investigation.
