"Ziva" (Coté de Pablo, 40) soon returns to NCIS for her third episode in the 17th season. In the episode called "The North Pole", the agent needs to take care of that "one thing" before she can see her family again. It will take everything that she's got to get it done, and it looks like someone's life is going to be in serious danger.
NCIS Season 17, Episode 10: First look at "Ziva" and "Gibbs"
In a new teaser clip uploaded exclusively by TVLine, we see "Gibbs" (Mark Harmon, 68) and "Ziva" in a car. Apparently, "Gibbs" has tracked her down after we last saw her and she mentioned that "there's one more thing to do before I can put all of this behind me" - and hopefully return to "Tony" and "Tali"?
Back to the clip: "Ziva" tells "Gibbs" that "Odette" has involved Special Agent "Bishop" (Emily Wickersham, 35) to gather some intelligence - "Bishop" was trying to protect "Ziva", who has been suffering from serious panic attacks.
She tells "Gibbs" that she doesn't want his help, who retorts by saying that he won't do "this" again with her. "You don't want my help - go." Will they see each other again after this serious exchange?
NCIS Season 17: Who will die in the fall finale?
And then there's apparently another looming threat in the fall finale, as NCIS' "Kasie Hines" (Diona Reasonover, 27) told TV Insider about the new episode:
"'Ziva', 'Gibbs', [and] the whole team really and truly have to put this case front and center because if they don't, someone will die." Whether she is alluding to "Ziva" is not yet clear.
NCIS Season 17 Episode 10 ("The North Pole") airs on Tuesday December 17 at 8pm (7 central) on CBS.
