New Girl was a hit comedy that graced our screens for a total of 7 season from 2011 to 2018. With an incredible cast featuring Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris, the hilarious TV series followed the life of "Jessica Day" and her friends while capturing the hearts of many! We thought we would check out what the main cast is up to now... 

Zooey Deschanel had the starring role of middle school teacher "Jessica Day" who moves into an apartment with three men as her roommates after finding out that her boyfriend of six years cheated on her. She is one of the most quirky, fun-loving characters on TV and fans absolutely loved her!

With starring roles in the films Elf, 500 Days of Summer and Yes Man, New Girl is really the role that Zooey is known for. Since her time as "Jess", we haven't seen too much of her on the big or small screen. She started dating Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott and is very active on social media promoting different causes close to her heart!

Actor Jake Johnson starred as "Nick Miller" in the FOX sitcom New Girl for all seven seasons of the show. We always had a soft spot for "Nick" who was a law school dropout turned bartender and we absolutely loved his relationship with "Jess"!

Born in Evanston, Illinois, Jake has appeared in a few different movies and television shows since 'New Girl'! In 2018, he starred in 'TAG' and 'Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse' and he appeared in the show 'Easy' from 2016 to 2019. Johnson was also in the 2021 film 'Jurassic World: Dominion'! He has been married to Erin Payne since 2006.

Max Greenfield played the hilarious role of "Winston Schmidt" in New Girl for all 7 seasons. "Schmidt" was quick with wit and definitely set in his ways, always trying to be the macho man of the series. Did we mention he was always adding money to the "jar"?

Apart from his role in 'New Girl', you can see Max in other series like 'Veronica Mars', 'Modern Men', and most recently with a starring role in 'The Neighborhood' since 2018. Some of his film credits include 'Hello, My Name is Doris', 'The Glass Castle', 'The Big Short' and 'Promising Young Woman'. Max has been married since 2008 to Tess Sanchez and has two children!

Canadian actress Hannah Simone starred as "Jess'" best friend and model, "Cece" in New Girl. "Cece" was always there to pick "Jess" up when she was down and was very protective over her best friend! She was also quite used to being the center of attention when it came to men... 

Hannah's role in New Girl is her most well-known, however she has also appeared in Kicking & Screaming (2017), Mira, Royal Detective (2020), Miss India America (2015) and The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience (2019). Hannah has been married to Canadian musician Jesse Giddings since 2016 and they have one son together, born in 2017. 

Lamorne Morris' breakthrough role was starring as European professional basketball player "Winston Bishop" in New Girl. Everybody loved "Winston" as he was the perfect piece of the puzzle when it came to the group. We loved watching "Winston" flourish in his career and his love life...
