Owen Wilson is joining the Marvel universe! The news was announced today that he will play an unspecified character in Loki, an upcoming series from Disney+ and Marvel Studios.

Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as the beloved "Loki" in the series. Loki is scheduled for release in 2021. The series will reportedly connect with the upcoming Doctor Strange film, also due out in 2021.

Disney+ is shaping up to be a must-have for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Loki is just one of seven live-action Marvel series planned for the Disney streaming service.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well as WandaVision are already scheduled for release later this year.
