Marvel's The Avengers

Starting in 2012, Marvel gave life to a successful franchise thanks to The Avengers, a superhero team made up of epic heroes such as "Iron Man", "Captain America", "Hulk" or "Thor". The Avengers has four films, the last one released in 2019, and with which, this saga has raised more than 7 billion dollars! Thus becoming the highest-grossing and successful saga of all time.  

Since the release of The Avengers in 2012, their films have been made up of an incredible cast with actors such as Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Holland.

The Avengers movies

The Avengers series began in 2012 with a film that had a budget of 220 million dollars; the last part of the saga, meanwhile, had a budget of more than 350 million dollars. In total, this series of films had a budget of more than 1,220 million dollars, which has been reached six times. The saga is composed as follows:

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron  (2015)
  • Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
  • Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Fun facts about The Avengers :

  • The idea for a movie based on The Avengers came in 2003. 
  • The last part of the saga, Avengers: Endgame, has no after-credits scenes, as is customary with all Marvel movies. 
  • Emily Blunt may have played "Natasha Romanoff", a character that ended up being Scarlett Johansson. 
  • Avengers: Endgame managed to surpass Avatar to become the highest-grossing movie of all time.
