Have you noticed that in several episodes of Season 1 of 'Bones', the red and blue police lights on the rear of 'Booth's' FBI Tahoe are pointing towards the interior of the car? This is especially noticeable in episode 20 when they drive to the small town. However, with the lights directed inwards, they cannot be seen from the outside and may potentially blind the car's occupants.
