Marvel fans, get ready to see the "God of Thunder" on screen again soon. Despite the pandemic that keeps some of Hollywood's most important projects on hold for the next few months, the team behind Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth installment of the famous character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is - almost - ready to return to action. At least that's how it appears in a photograph that actor Chris Hemsworth shared to Instagram after reading the first script for the film.

Chris Hemsworth already read the script for Thor: Love and Thunder

Everything seems to indicate that the production of Thor: Love and Thunder is getting closer to starting. At least so it seems in a nice photograph that the star of film, Chris Hemsworth, uploaded to his social networks.

"Terrific first script meeting for "Thor Love and Thunder" with our ever fearless leader Taika Waititi," wrote the Australian alongside a photo where the screenwriter of Jojo Rabbit is asleep in the grass.

"My notes were so detailed and intense that the only way for Taika to fully absorb them was to roll himself into a tight cocoon and bake in the endless possibilities of where the film will take us. The bloke in the background was equally riveted by my storytelling prowess," he continued.

This is all we know about Thor: Love and Thunder

Although the message seems like a joke, Hemsworth confirms in his post that the first draft of the fourth individual Thor film has already been completed and read by the responsible team.

Although so far no more information about the film has been revealed, Taika Waititi himself mentioned some of his ideas at the last San Diego Comic-Con. One of them proposes continuing the story after the events that occurred in Avengers: Endgame and see how "Jane Foster", the character portrayed by Natalie Portman takes the place of the "God of Thunder" after fighting a disease.

Thor: Love and Thunder will open in theaters on February 11, 2022.

Marvel is currently shutting down its TV division.
