"Agent Dale Cooper" is arguably actor Kyle MacLachlan's best-known role. The actor portrayed "Agent Cooper" in Twin Peaks' two seasons in 1990-91, its sequel film in 1992, and Twin Peaks: The Return in 2017.

To celebrate Twin Peaks, several towns in Washington in 2018 made official a "Twin Peaks Day" on Feb. 24. The show was set in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington, and it was filmed in the state.

Kyle MacLachlan returns to Twin Peaks

Kyle MacLachlan's 2020 Twin Peaks Day video recreates his first scene in the series. It's also this scene that gives Twin Peaks Day its Feb. 24 date of celebration.

"Agent Cooper" reappears in MacLachlan's TikTok video, which is a lighthearted and low-budget remake of the actor's scene from 30 years earlier.

In addition to Twin Peaks, MacLachlan is known for roles in Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, and Portlandia.

The actor also collaborated with Twin Peaks creator David Lynch on Blue Velvet and Dune.

MacLachlan will appear in the 2020 films Tesla and Fonzo.
