- A Bond producer has an update on the search for an actor

Bond producer gives update on new "007" actor
Barbara Broccoli, the producer of the film series, just told Deadline how the search for the next "007" actor is going. Right away, she clarified that it should be another two years before the new "James Bond" movie starts filming.
In addition, they are working on reinventing the role of "Bond," which has delayed the casting process. Broccoli said: "We're working out where to go with him, we're talking that through."
So far, there is no script or concept. Nor has a successor for Daniel Craig been found as of yet. "We're reinventing who he is and that takes time," the producer added.
But the fans are already fiercely debating several well-known names, including Idris Elba, Regé-Jean Page, Henry Cavill and Tom Hardy.
Whoever comes after Daniel Craig will be the eighth star to portray the legendary agent from Ian Fleming's novels...
