Actress Kaley Cuoco has announced on Instagram that she and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey are expecting another child. The couple already share daughter Matilda, who is now three years old. This time, they are preparing to welcome another girl. The 40-year-old wrote alongside several photos: “Completing our little family , what a dream come true !This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways , but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!!” said Cuoco.

The photos show Cuoco, Pelphrey and Matilda cutting into a cake with pink filling, revealing the baby’s gender. Other images feature the actress posing in front of a mirror, proudly showing off her growing baby bump. A 3D ultrasound scan was also included in the post. Cuoco ended the photo series with a joke, writing that her “delicate princess” was already giving the family the middle finger. She also affectionately referred to Pelphrey as her “forever baby daddy.”
Daughter Matilda Is Already at the Heart of Family Life
Little Matilda plays a starring role throughout the photos. In one image, she stands close to her parents while Pelphrey lovingly rests a hand on Cuoco’s belly. Another sweet snapshot shows the family dog perched on her stomach. The actress also shared a selfie wearing a tank top with the caption “I cried today,” while making a playful sad face for the camera.
Engaged for Two Years, Wedding Plans Still Unclear
Cuoco and Pelphrey first went public with their relationship in May 2022. They announced their first pregnancy that October, and daughter Matilda was born in March 2023. After more than two years together, the couple got engaged in August 2024 but have not yet tied the knot. Earlier this year, Pelphrey spoke about family life, explaining that Matilda is very much a daddy’s girl and that he often struggles to say no. He joked that Cuoco is usually the one who has to step in and lay down the rules.
