In 2011, former Playmate Yvette Vickers was found dead at her home at the age of 82. Her body was already mummified. A neighbor noticed the woman's overflowing mailbox and gained access to the apartment. The coroner assumes that Vickers had already died a year earlier.

Jayne Mansfield was known for her high profile public appearances. This also included numerous spicy breast flashes. These were only overshadowed by her tragic death. On June 28, 1967, the model's car, which had her, her boyfriend, the driver and her children, hit a semi truck at full speed. The car got under the truck. The entire upper part of the car was torn off. It has long been publicly believed that Mansfield's head was severed in the accident. However, this is not the case. Nevertheless, the Playmate suffered serious head injuries, and died.

Marilyn Monroe was the biggest sex symbol of the '50s and '60s. She was featured on the cover of the first issue of the magazine, published in December 1953. Though she seemed to have the perfect life, the film icon took refuge in alcohol and drug use.
