Heartland is one of the longest-running CBC drama series with 13 seasons under its belt. Canadian actress, singer, and equestrian, Amber Marshall was born on June 2, 1988, in London, Ontario. She has been riding horses since she could walk and has been quoted saying the two things she loves the most are "acting and horses."

Amber Marshall's Early Career

A former veterinarian assistant, Marshall made her television debut in 2000 in Super Rupert. Other early-career appearances include in the shows Twice in a Lifetime, Doc, Dark Oracle, and in the film The Christmas Shoes (2002). 

She was nominated for a Los Angeles-based Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie for her leading role in The Elizabeth Smart Story, which is a movie based on the true story of the real-life kidnapping of Utah teen Elizabeth Smart

"Amy Fleming" in Heartland

It was in 2007 when Amber landed the starring role of "Amy Fleming" on Heartland. The series premiered in October 2007 and its 14th season aired in 2021. 

Amber Marshall's Personal Life

In July 2013, Marshall married photographer Shawn Turner and the couple lives on a ranch outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In between filming for Heartland, Amber volunteers at a local veterinarian clinic and loves to spend time with her many farm animals.
