Following the example of her mother Andie MacDowell Sarah Margaret Qualley, also better known as Margaret Qualley, turned to acting.

In the beginning, it was her dream to become a dancer. At the age of 17, she gained acting experience for the first time and changed her plans for the future - luckily for her.

Margaret Qualley: The beginning of her career

In 2013 Margaret Qualley started with a small role in the movie Palo Alto, afterwards, she took on the role of "Jill Garvey" in the HBO series The Leftovers from 2014 to 2017.

2017 was a good year for Margaret Qualley. She always got her hands on similar roles for various movies. From 2018 things got quieter for the daughter of Andie MacDowell.

With the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Margaret Qualley made an international breakthrough. Shortly afterward she was engaged for a role in the thriller Seberg.

Most recently you can watch Margaret in the mini-series Maid as "Alex" (2021) and in the upcoming films Sanctuary, The Stars at Noon, and Fred & Ginger, as Ginger Rogers.

South Carolina-born Rosalie Anderson MacDowell was discovered as a model in Los Angeles. She made her film debut in 1984 with Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes.
