A global tragedy that shook the world

Ariana Grande has always been vocal about the horrific and tragic bombing that happened at the Manchester Arena three years ago, and her manager, Scooter Braun revealed the "Thank U, Next" singer still suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

May 22, 2017 seemed like any normal day for those anticipating watching their favourite singer bop around on stage with the iconic high pony, but the show took a terrifying turn when a suicide bomber killed 22 people, and injured 123 more.

Braun admitted to DailyMail that the young pop star is still suffering those memories saying, "She has PTSD, she’s still suffering to this day."

Grande returned to the city in June, 2017 to perform at the One Love benefit concert, and again in August for the Pride parade.

Grande posted an emotional message to her Instagram on the anniversary saying, "I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to everyone that is feeling the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary coming up this week."

She continued, "Not a day goes by that this doesn’t affect u and all of us still. i will be thinking of u all week and weekend. My heart, thoughts, prayers are with u always."

Grande has previously spoken about her trauma in a 2018 interview with Vogue, saying, "It’s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it’s a real thing,” she said at the time.
