Halle has never been happier

"Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son," the singer and actress captioned an Instagram post showing her holding the hand of her newborn, who is wearing a gold bracelet engraved with his name, Halo.

"Welcome to the world my halo, the world is desperate to know you," Bailey wrote on Saturday.

The actress had not previously confirmed her pregnancy despite speculation. Her boyfriend DDG also confirmed the birth in his own Instagram post on Saturday.

2024 has barely begun, and it's already showering Halle Bailey with its finest gifts. "The greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son," Bailey expressed, capturing the essence of a mother's boundless love.

The couple, who have been a romantic item since 2022, kept the stork's visit under wraps until their big reveal. Bailey, who's been vocal about her deep love with DDG, credits her relationship for unlocking new creative dimensions.

"Experiencing deep love for the first time in my life is something I feel has opened a whole new world for me creatively," she told British Vogue. This whirlwind of love and creativity has now culminated in the birth of their first child, Halo, marking a new chapter in their lives.
