Nicole Eggert, best known as "Summer Quinn" from 'Baywatch,' has cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, as she tells 'People' magazine. In the months before the diagnosis, Eggert gained around eleven kilos and suffered from severe pain in her left breast, which she initially thought were menopausal symptoms.
Scary signs...
A self-administered breast palpation test and the subsequent medical examination ultimately led to the discovery of the tumor. It was really throbbing and painful, she said. Despite the urgent need for an examination, Eggert was faced with the problem of not being able to get an appointment with a specialist at short notice!
